The good old days.
Thinking back, it should be close to four years since i've gone back to TK. I think almost everybody misses TK, or rather days in TK.

How i would wake up at 6am everyday, complaining how i have to fold those sleeves over and over again. How i would prepare the green and yellow tie every sunday night before i go to bed. How i would reach school earlier than most people. How i would quicken my pace when i'm passing the janitor/school caretaker's room because it gives me the creeps.

3E. The first combined science class.
How we would always get hold of one hardworking person's homework and gather together to copy before the bell for assembly goes off. How the discipline mistress would come in and shut off our lights and fans just to rush us off to assembly. How the guys would rush to the toilets in between lessons because it was just next to the class. How we would find places to hide our books so we don't have to bring them home. How we would panic whenever there's a handphone check. How we would open up the projector and throw all our handphones in. How we would sms under the table. How we would sleep behind our books. How we would how we would how we would.. :)

The 3E to 3J corridor.
I must say. TK is already different :(
We went back today. And somehow, TK doesn't feel like TK anymore.
Additional shelters,an upgraded general office, a long extention part outside the library, new tables and seats in the canteen, additional piano and two televisions in the canteen, a changing room/shower room in the field, new needlework room, new consultation area outside the staff room, many more pots of plants, upgraded basketball court, extention of the auditorium and the centre of excellence!
Gosh. TK suddenly seems so new.

The new canteen.
When it was my time, canteen benches were really benches, as in those wooden benches that the keychains from our bags would sometimes get stuck in. They were standard, all the same for the whole canteen.
The canteen now- long tables and round tables. No more shaky wooden benches and definitely much cleaner. But urg, i still prefer the ones during my time. And how every clique would have their own table and sit there everyday without fail.

The western stall uncle is still the western stall uncle :) And look, they've got the maggi whipped potato machine too. For four years in tk, the only 2 stalls i buy from are the western stall and chicken rice stall. They're next to each other anyway. And the chicken rice couple recognises us :) How the uncle would always throw in a huge piece of ginger in my chicken porridge. Heh.

Chicken cutlet spagetti with white sauce. I swear TK serves the best western food ever.

So uncle has a new creation- Cutlet spagetti in curry sauce. That's zenas enjoying his new funky food.
So TK gets to be the centre of excellence for east zone. And i think that's something to be proud of! I can imagine the students having to sit down at the plaza after flag raising, while the principal goes up to the podium to make a speech on how excellent TK has done.
The centre of excellence, where art works and master pieces get displayed. There are paintings, inventions and gadgets. And i must say, those are damn smart kids and talented kids.

One of the artpieces on display
We walked to the auditorium area. I kind of miss that place. The place where i had my first choir audition in front of 80 seniors. The place we learnt our school song and how to tie the TK tie when we were freshies. The place where we have our combined chemistry lessons. The place where i had my first choir concert. And the place where i received my first speech day award :)
The school's heritage, right outside the auditorium.

See, i was once a model student too! :) Look at my inspirational saying. Haha.

Me and ryn with the pretty painting.
Zenas and me at the extention bridge or whatever you call it.
It has changed. But i think i'll never gonna stop missing this place.

Fatties and wobbly legs
Long awaited date. haha.
Damn projects that deprive us of meeting time.
Gave yuting a no-cab rule today. She still did anyway -
but so did i- Headed to town, wanted to catch a movie but no ideal ones. So we ended up walking around. No shopping for me! Saving it for my hongkong trip. Woohoo. five days!!
mai do xi chi dong xi mai dong xi chi dong xi :)
Then i had the craving for east coast lagoon food so we headed there for dinner. Yays. I so love that place. Ok, i just love any place near the sea! Eating next to the beach, i likeeeee. :)
We took almost an hour to walk there from the bus stop. The wind was totally crazy. By the time we reach the place, fer had a mohawk, and me and yuting had centre partings. haha.

Alright, look at the difference between mine and ferfer's.

I like hokkien mee. But i hate prawns and sotong. So there, fer has double the fillings. Did i ever mention how good the hokkien mee is. IT IS REALLY OH MY GOD GOOD.

Love love love the place. And absolutely love love love the company :)
Muahas. i love today :)

The perfectionist
Me and my colleague were talking about this so i thought i blog it down.
I was never quite a believer of astrology and horoscopes. How can it be that all cancerians will behave the same or have the same traits or how all leos are egoistic?
Anyway. My star sign- virgo. Let's see how much truth is there in it.
A woman who walks with confidence and pride. She has an egg shape facial structure, high and round forehead.
Hmmm. I only know i walk really fast and no, i don't really have a high and round forehead. She likes to look straight as if she is searching. She is not a pretentious type and will always say what she thinks. You will see Virgo woman walks fast. She will try her best to be look perfect and to feel perfect even though there is no such perfection.
There, proofs my point. I do walk fast. And according to some people, i always look around instead of straight. So, look around searching probably..straight? no. And the perfection part, i guess it's true. I don't get contented very easily. She is very delicate of what and how she dress. She is bright and easily despair with obstacles. She likes smart guy who will be compatible with her, so if you are a rich dumb guy, you can forget about her right now.
I think this paragraph's very true. Bright? Absolutely. Hahahaha. :DIf she does not like you, she will always keep a certain distant. Act proper and appropriate is her discipline. She does not like and can not stand bad languages and cursing words.
True. If i don't like someone means i don't like him/her. No putting up a front! Act appropriate yes. Act proper, gotta depends on the circumstance. I can't stand vulgarities? Haha. i think everyone knows i swear quite a bit.She is not an innocent angel for sometimes she can be as tough as steel. Even she easily despair, she is not the type to cry over it. She is a shy type type, so making speech in front of the room can make her nervous even if she usually walks and talks confidently.
True right? Based on our servings...I can't present in front of a lot of people for nuts.If you have a date with her, you better be there on time. If you want to say sorry, make it brief and quick. Do not drag your apologetic words into long making it up events, it could lead you to another war. She likes her man/friends to dress neat and clean.
Need i say more?Criticism woman is her icon including big and small things in life starting from your hair, your dress , and the way you talk. If you are in love with her, her, be as almost perfect as your can.
Haha. I guess i'm really a virgo afterall.

Everyday you learn a new fact.
Holidays are here. I am not going to bangkok already :( BUT. I am going to hongkong :)))
wheeeeeeeee.
Anyway. The main point about this entry today is my arm.
Yes, my arm.
I can't put my arm out straight without having to tilt my body a little as well. No hinders to my lifestyle or my movements, just that i realised- oh it's different from my friends'.
There.

There. A normal arm on the left and my arm on the right. Baby thinks it's an angle of forty degrees. Well, both arms are the same, in fact mirror image to each other.
So now i figured.
No wonder i couldn't stick my hand straight last time when the choreographer told me to.

Stage fright
And so i screwed up as expected.
We were the first group to present and we were all nervous till our hands turned cold and stomachs flipped. All the lecturers were there, the course manager was there and seniors were there and ya, marketing people were there.
So there was this part at my presentation where i wanted to say "Based on our market survey findings...." I said "Based on our market
servings" Great, market servings. What the hell was that la. Then i blabbered alot and my grammer and vocab was shit.
So overall, i think i sucked.
I don't want to do it again, it's scary :(

One more paper to go.
Having a to take a paper on a saturday is such a spoiler. Having to take a paper on a saturday and report to work after that is worse! But well, consolation for the week is, the papers have been good.
Sad thing is, the school's organising a trip to Korea and i'm giving it a miss. But well, ferfer and the rest will enjoy themself and bring me back kimchi even though i don't eat them. And xiaojun who wants to go and see da chang jin.
2 and a half months of holidays. I
think i'll be going to bangkok. Then it'll be major shopping spree. Just the thought of it... *muahas*
And, i finally saw michie in school yesterday. I want to see you more babe! Then we can finally make up for our postponed trip to cosybay.
*Twirl has to be the best chocolate anyone can ever imagine*

Scary shiet
I just got to know that almost everybody has already planned for project grouping for next semester which is like 3 months away. Well, fast and a bit of kancheong-ness there but i guess thats what you get for grouping people who hardly knew one another at the beginning. Am i glad or am i glad to say projects are finally over.
No wait. Actually it's not over.
My group has been selected to present our CB presentation in front of the whole cohort on the celebration of learning day. I think i'm so going to pee in my pants. I've never spoken in front of a hundred people before and i'm nervous shit.
Anyway, as known, marketing people do not have year end exams, which means our holidays are just around the corner. yipeee :) But, before that, we have a couple of tests to clear and its this coming Tuesday.
Good thing, i'm going to have my break soon. Bad, in fact very bad thing is, i'm going to have to miss mellie's birthday party due to tests. urg urg urg urg urg urg urg urg urg urg. I miss that girl way too much :(
