Yesterday's presentation was good. Today's was okay. Two more to go and then we're done!

I think when you have to force someone to do something, so that you'd get what you want, it loses its original purpose totally. It's like forcing someone to be with you when he/she doesn't wish to.

Well, i wouldn't dare say i've seen alot. But at least, i've seen a few different kind of people that got me amazed at the things they do. Bad and good included. Different people do things differently, but it scares me to see how some can go ahead to get what they want at the expense of others. Like, you wouldn't care if you hurt other people as long as the outcome pleases you.

To a cab person like me, the recent fare change is killing me :(

1. Flag down rates increase from $2.40 to $2,50.
2. For trips up to 10km, the charge will be $0.10 for every 210m travelled, compared to 225m currently.
3. For trips above 10km, the charge will be $0.10 for every 175m travelled, compared to 200m currently
4. Peak hour rates increased from $1.00 to $2.00.
5. Peak hours will no longer be from 7:30 am to 9:30am but 7:ooam to 9:30am.

Tell me, is this sucky or is this sucky :( *WAILS*

Eye candy

There's this very cliche chinese saying that in this world, there are no ugly women, only lazy ones. So generally, if you're lazy, it makes you ugly. It's the same theory- even though you may look flawless on the outside, but if you're horrible on the inside, it makes you ugly both inside and outside.

I need a time freeze

School seem to have just started and now it seems like its ending. Unknowingly, next week is already the last week for lectures before we're left to do up our reports and presentations. bleah.

I watched recycle today, supposedly scary from what i heard. The movie just okay for me. In fact i even dozed off at a few parts, probably due to late nights from soccer and projects.

Anyway, the show was about a place where things that are being abandoned go to. So there were scenes whereby there were abandoned people, abandoned buildings, abandoned toys, abandoned ideas, abandoned almost everything.

The most thought provoking was this scene whereby this writer was finding her way to the "transit" so that she can return to the mortal world. Along the way, she chanced upon this place whereby there were alot of fetuses. Some were normal looking babies, some were miniature while some looked horribly scarred and deformed. And all these were actually results of abortion- where babies get abandoned.

It wasn't say a fantastic show, but at least it had an obvious message it was trying to bring across. Well, and a twist in the ending too.
